'The Red Bridge Over the Valley' is the second release in 2019 for Gallery Six. Hidekazu Imashige is certainly off to a strong start for this year and this latest effort is a stunning example of gorgeous soundscapes and ambient bliss.
Hidekazu Imashige description of his latest effort:
"This “Red Bridge” is located in Taisyakukyo valley (帝釈峡), northern Hiroshima, Japan. It is known as a scenic spot. I love this place and often visit because it has many colors and smells, and they make me feel calm. It has water, mountain, blue sky... What else do you need?
This album was inspired by my experience when I visited there last Spring. I hope you can feel earthy smell, color of water, clear sky of blue of this scenery through this album."
HILYARD - MERCY WITHIN
This album was created in a solar powered forest cabin during the desolate winter months. Comfort for dark nights, cold isolation and fuel for gazing pensively into the fire. Another chapter in Hilyard's ongoing musical journey to find some peace of mind in this world. Layers of his own grief and regret slowly peel away with this music to reveal the mercy and self forgiveness that lies within.
Released December 21, 2018 on Stereoscenic Records [SCENE-26]
Written and Produced by Bryan Hilyard
Vocals - Angela Klimek (Poemme) - "From Omens"
Mastered by Andrew J Klimek
