FOREST MANAGEMENT - REMAIN Afterhours, a brand new ambient label founded by John Daniel, just released their second imprint featuring Forest Management. Forest Management returns after the extensive '21st Century Man' LP with a shorter set of works entitled 'Remain'. We recently announced Forest Management’s ‘21st Century Man’ made it on PITP’s Top 25 List of ambient releases in 2018, so we were very pleased to find out J. Daniel had one more EP to conclude 2018. ‘Remain’ is the 5th release of 2018 for Forest Management; releasing both solo pieces of work, along with collaborations with amazing artists, Celer and David Tagg.
‘Remain’ is inspired by the season's colors and smells, the reminder of a different voice, a restoration. -according to J. Daniel.
‘Remain’ is a perfect accompaniment to the forthcoming winter twilight. An album that is best listened to between daylight and darkness, whether that's after sunset, or before sunrise. You will find these pieces full of gorgeous swells, accompanied by hauntingly beautiful piano work under the veil of celestial textures.
You can purchase ‘Remain’ in both digital and physical formats. The physical album is a hand-made CDr housed in a cardboard jacket, with unique elements adhered to the exterior. Featuring artwork by John Daniel himself.
